Barton-on-Sea, on the edge of The New Forest in Hampshire England, is ideally located about halfway between Christchurch and Lymington. It is within easy reach of Hythe to the East, with its regular ferry connections to downtown Southampton, and Sandbanks to the West. Between these two extremes can be sampled the coastal towns and villages of Lymington, Milford-on-Sea, New Milton, Highcliffe, Christchurch and Bournemouth, and the New Forest villages of Beaulieu, Brockenhurst and Burley.
There are excellent train connections to London via Southampton and Winchester and good road connections to the same towns via the M27/M3
